Visuals and cover design for 88 – Double Happiness digital compilation series by FuFu Records. Heavily influenced by the acid graphics aesthetics, the design borrows the legacy of traditional cigarette pack design and iconography and transform the visuals into a night time wonderland glorified in Asia pride and euphoria, with a hint of nature sprouting and thriving, as a tribute to the charity contribution from the series.
88 – Double Happiness comprises a mix of well-know artists and emerging talented producers who are showcasing the new sounds of Asia. It sonically explores the electronic musical scene coming all the diversity of Asian countries. With artists coming from Indonesia, Japan, Philippines, India, South Korea, Singapore & China, each artist brought their own flavour to the compilation with their unique sounds and dance-worthy beats.
FuFu Records has established a partnership with One Tree Planted, 80% of the sales will go to one of the asian’s projects of the NGO to help support reforestation and rebuild the habitat of critically endangered species. Each track bought will contribute to plant 1 tree in Asia. Each compilation bought will contribute to plant 8 trees in Asia.
